This is the second year I have photographed this sweet little gal’s life as she knows it at home. Wise beyond her years, she may be one of the smartest 2 year old’s I have met. She is such a bright spot and full of life.

When I arrived she was “chatting” away to her Aunt on the phone. After her “call” ended she did her chore, which was feeding her dog Buddy. But first she let me in on the “rollover” trick that Buddy does. I seriously was so impressed that a 2 year old could get a dog to rollover. After her chore was over, we hung out in the yard and played for awhile before heading out on a little walk to her favorite fountain in Clayton. I could see why she loved this fountain so much. It was beautiful!! The best part was when she was getting sprayed. Normally most parents would be slightly concerned about their daughter getting wet at a photo session, but we all just rolled with it. After all this was life with a 2 year old. Happy, crazy, messy, and wet. 

When we got back to her house after our walk we played dress up with her Mom’s high heels, made dinner, then read stories. I felt so appreciative to spend this evening with her and her family being able to observe and visually document this phase of her life as it is now.
