Corey and Brittany are the sweetest and most kind beings with the best families. There was so much love and warmth felt at their wedding from everyone.
I first met up with the girls at the family home where they were creating their wedding bouquets and putting the finishing touches on getting ready. Seeing them create their own bouquets and watching their creativity while reminiscing about their parents’ wedding was soo sweet. They are such a loving family. 🙂
The ceremony took place at St. John’s Apostle and Evangelist in downtown St. Louis. The church was BEAUTIFUL and GRAND. I really appreciate historic architecture and all the detail, character, and features of beautiful churches and buildings. The church provided a most perfect setting for their ceremony.
It was a cold and windy December day and everyone was ready and willing to brave the elements to take a few photos with the bride and groom after the ceremony. A good friend even brought up the bride and groom’s pup! OMG! I am such a dog lover, so this made my day!! The puppy only stayed for a little bit and then we explored around and shot up to Union Station. They both live in Chicago, so the walking in the cold and wind didn’t seem to bother them at all. I loved their adventurous spirits! I was thrilled we walked to Union Station since it was so pretty with the Christmas lights and decorations!
I loved that Cory and Brittany wanted to have a little chill time between the ceremony and reception. They really were about just enjoying each other on their special day, and I just loved that! The reception was at Schlafly Tap Room which felt so perfect on a cold winter day since Schlafly is so warm and cozy on the inside.
We are sooo extremely happy for Brittany and Corey! I can see a lifetime of happiness and lots of laughter for them! We are truly happy and honored to have had the opportunity to document Corey and Brittany’s wedding.
