Being a photographer, I get the honor of visually documenting people….whether it’s an ordinary day or one of the most important of days. Sharing in people’s life changing moments is incredible for me. I love being a storyteller of what I see so that you can relive your day and feel all the feelings of that day in a very visceral way.

Being a witness to Antoine surprising Linda with a proposal was by far so beautiful. Antoine is so thoughtful and created such a special day for his Linda. The plan was for them to head to the winery where they were supposed to meet up with some family and friends. It was presented to her as a fun day with loved ones, little did she know it was going to be a life changing day. They arrived at the winery early….(part of the plan)….and since they were early, he suggested they walk around and look at the vineyards. Meanwhile, I was pretending to be a Noboleis employee and arranging table and chairs to not look suspicious. I had my camera locked and loaded so that I could easily grab it when I could tell it was ‘go-time’. I see them walking and enjoying the beautiful view. I go to my camera and am now hiding behind the tent wall. Then, just like that, the most incredible sight….he gets down on one knee and the BIGGEST smile lights up her face. YES! Then, Antoine slips the beautiful diamond on finger. Emotions were high and filled with so much excitement! After a few minutes of collecting themselves we walked around the vineyard and back up to the tent where their family and friends were waiting for the surprise engagement party! Since Linda’s mom was out of state, she Facetimed her to tell her the big news! I loved how beautiful and perfect the day went!

I am so so so glad I was there to capture this special day for them so that they can relive these memories and feel all those feelings over and over again throughout the years. I can only imagine this day going down as one of their favorite days ever. So happy for both of them and wish them so much love and laughter!
