Hannah and Jacob had the most beautiful Spring wedding. I met up with Hannah in a downtown St. Louis loft as she was putting her final touches on getting ready for her day with all of her ladies. Everyone was in great spirits! Hannah has the BEST friends! After she was all ready, she did a quick sneak peek with her bridesmaids and headed down to see her dad! This was such an emotional moment for all of us.
After all the final first looks at Hannah, we loaded up and headed to the Old Cathedral where her groom awaited!
Heath was there with the guys capturing the final moments before the ceremony while I was with Hannah and her gals. There felt like so much anticipation as the ceremony was about to begin. Sooo much excitement from both Hannah and Jacob!
Once the doors of the Old Cathedral opened to reveal Hannah and her dad, I think every eye in the whole cathedral was welled up. What a sight! It was such a beautiful moment, and Jacob was all sorts of emotional as he watched his bride revealed to him! It was really such a wonderful moment! Really….I can’t get over this moment as the doors opened and she walked down the aisle with her father.
The ceremony was sooo lovely and so grand being in the Old Cathedral. I really treasured every second of the ceremony. And for a funny side note behind the scenes story, Heath was all set up to capture their first kiss once the priest said they could kiss, and I sprinted as soon as I heard those words to be right in the middle of the aisle, totally blocking Heath’s perfectly set up shot. He was so annoyed with me, but we laugh about it now. LOL! Anyway, this ceremony…..seriously one for all the books!
After the ceremony, we walked up to Keiner Plaza, then we headed over to McGurks and finally to the History Museum! I was sooo excited about their History Museum reception, because, I mean, all the obvious reasons….first of all…the History museum is seriously the coolest place! I fell in love with the History Museum a long time ago, and to photograph a wedding reception there felt so full circle for me.
We had so much fun dancing the night away underneath the Spirit of St. Louis airplane hanging at the museum. I am so happy for Hannah and Jacob for their wedding and their future!!! Love this couple so much!!!
