Man! I love in-home sessions! Capturing a family as they are, in their own home is the best in my opinion. Perhaps it’s my love for being home in my own home, that I tend to project this love of being home onto my clients. Like, why don’t we just stay home? Stay home and be yourselves! 🙂

I have had the honor of watching this family grow for a few years now. Photographing them as they not only grew their family, but also outgrew their old house and moved into this cool historic home with soooo much charm and character. The home definitely matches the character of its inhabitants for sure. The kids were so much fun!  They were so excited to show me all the things that they loved doing and I was so glad to be there to photograph these moments for them. One day when they are older they can look back on these photos and remember the fun they used to have riding bikes in the alley behind their house, or playing on the slide and swinging on that awesome swing on their porch. Documenting these moments that will become memories is the best part of my job, and feel so thankful that I get to be a part of collecting visual memories for people.
