Jared + Sarah | Dreamy Sunrise Engagement Session | Klondike Park

I can’t even begin to tell you what an absolute honor it was to photograph these two. Their story really hit home with me. Both in the Military, relationship mostly long distance, communication through letters….I mean, so much of this story is parallel to Heath and I. I can really relate to Jared and Sarah so much, and can totally empathize with the long distance. Not only do we have similar love stories, but we also totally hit it off! I mean, we had an absolute blast!

Due to crazy schedules on both of our ends, we decided to do a sunrise session. Which may seem crazy to some, but there is something soo majestic about the sunrise. Sunrise sessions are definitely my favorite and well worth an early wake up! The sunrise session didn’t phase these soldiers at all since they are very used to being up at o’dark thirty everyday.

These two were up for anything, and it made the session sooooo fun! One of my favorite parts of the session was when they exchanged letters. Since letter writing is one of the main themes of their relationship, they wrote each other a letter to read at the session. I just love the personal element so much.When I say there was something magical about this session, I am not just saying that, there really was, and I was so so so happy that I was a part of it!

I seriously am so happy for these two and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
