This was my first wedding I photographed where I could have literally stepped in as a bridesmaid since I wore a burgundy dress and pearls just like the bridesmaids. I was considered an honorary bridesmaid which I am never forgetting. I would have definitely stepped up if I was needed! Sam, the bride, is the most fun and most kind person I have ever met and completely hit it off! I am still smiling so much thinking of all the different moments from Same and Jason’s day. They are definitely meant for each other. I love how fun they are and love how madly in love they are with each other.
The ladies got ready in the loft space above their venue, Oliva on the Hill. Which is also my new favorite venue! It felt like you walked into old world Italy. It was beautiful and warm. I love anything that feels fancy and cozy at the same time! The ceremony was in the sweet courtyard that had a canopy of greenery. Very beautiful! The reception was inside and it felt like you were at their home….in Italy. Lol It just really had a homey feeling that I loved.
The processional song was “Leather and Lace” which made me realize they are definitely my kind of people! Oh and the first dance was Looking Glass’ “Brandy (You’re a fine girl)”! I mean seriously, they nailed it with the music! The dancing was off the charts! These people knew how to dance and they brought it! The toasts were crazy hilarious and also filled with lots of emotion. Sam and Jason are surrounded by the best friends and family. I am beyond happy for them as they begin they journey as husband and wife!
