To be a witness and document this incredible emotive wedding is the whole reason I love photographing weddings. The love shared between Maggie and Ryan is HUGE and touches everyone around them.
We arrived to Maggie’s parents home and were immediately blown away by the incredible set up they had. They worked so hard and it was evident. Her Dad takes the award on most effort with the incredible pool house he built for this special day. The wedding gave him reason to build it, and it will be enjoyed for all of time by all of their family as the family grows and grows.
The ceremony was held by their pool, and I am not sure there was a dry eye, including my own. Even the speeches and the dances were all so sentimental and heart warming. I left their wedding basically crying all the way home. It didn’t help that Heath kept playing her parent’s anniversary song over and over. (Aaron Neville’s “Don’t Know Much”) Which, Maggie and Ryan surprised her parents with this song. It was their 30th wedding anniversary and that was their first dance song. So they danced too! And it was so beautiful!
I was so touched by so many things. The love between Maggie and Ryan, their incredible families, their awesome friends, and all the thought and work from everyone who helped them to make this day happen the way it did. I am still beside myself thinking about it. It really was the most perfect day for them.
