Rebecca and Martin: a super hip, super in-love and fun couple who both work for amazing breweries. He works for 4 Hands Brewing and she works for Left Hand Brewing. I mean, how sweet is that! I can only imagine there is a bit of healthy competition at home on who’s brew is better. Lol. Being that they both work for two very cool breweries, these people are super cool, and their wedding more than reflected that.
We started with Martin and his crew getting ready at Becca and Martin’s super cute South City home. Martin was so sweet and made me feel right at home and more than comfortable. Martin and his groomsmen and groomswoman had so much fun together and shared such a special bond. I personally think every groom should have a groomswoman too! She really kept the guys on track and added a whole other element of fun to their group.
While Martin and his crew was getting ready, Rebecca and her ladies were getting ready at Martin’s parents home. When I arrived, they were all in the stylish robes Becca gave them and they were enjoying some bubbly. These girls have such a strong friendship and it shows. I loved the connection I felt between them.
The ladies waited until they arrived at the Wild Carrot to put their dresses on, which was such a great call. The Wild Carrot has such a cool Bride’s room with a beautiful Victorian style sofa, as well as other eclectic vintage decor. I personally loved all of the architectural details and artistic touches like the big beautiful flower wall mural. The Wild Carrot actually used to be an old movie theater way back in the day, and this amazing couple bought it and recently renovated it. I was personally blown away with all of its style and charm.
Becca did a first look with her parents which was extremely sweet and even had me in tears. I loved her connection with her parents…and can only hope that Heath and I have that same connection to our daughter on her wedding day one day.
The ceremony was outside and not to sound dramatic….but it was pretty much PERFECT! The Officiant is a close friend and did an amazing job and had everyone laughing…and then crying! Lol! After the perfect ceremony we took some pictures, then everyone partied! It was all in all an amazing wedding! Hip, beautiful, elegant, classy, eclectic……and most of all FUN!
Thank you again Becca and Martin for having us document your wedding!
XO,
Pearl and Heath
