Sweet Baby Jack | St. Louis Newborn Photographer

I have documented Chelsea and Greg’s journey of important milestones over the past few years from engagement to wedding…but to now document their new sweet sweet baby….well that was one of my favorite highlights of 2023! It has been awhile since I photographed a newborn baby to be honest. All the new babies I once photographed have grown into awesome kids and as I continue to follow most of their lives, I had a time of no new babies….until now. Which was like a reunion for me of sorts…bringing me back to where I began so many years ago primarily as a baby photographer. 🙂

I admit, I felt a little rusty at first. Going from the intenseness of wedding days or from the active little kids I mostly photograph these days, this was definitely a change of pace. A slow down, and I really loved it. Capturing Chelsea and Greg in their new roles of parents….full of all the new parent love and bliss. It was beyond special for me to watch. Also, brought me back to my feelings of when Heath and I were new parents. Some of my favorite memories!

And to add..they have the coolest and funniest dog named Walter who always kept a very watchful eye on me. 😉
