Whew! Strap in for this one because it is packed with ALL THE THINGS!
First of all, this couple is just AMAZING! I met Allison a few years ago, and we just clicked. She is the sweetest, kindest, creative and funniest humans I know. Naturally somebody extremely special would have to catch her eye. And lucky for Jon Paul and his virtual rose….he snagged the heart of Allison. Jon Paul is extremely creative and has created a business making custom soccer balls. https://jonpaulsballs.com/ It is very impressive the ideas he comes up with and am totally WOWed by all his balls….soccer balls! Of course, he brought some of his balls to the wedding. The day wouldn’t be complete with a few of his balls present.
Also, with Jon Paul being from England, I think half of the guests flew in from the UK! Some even brought lots of favorite English treats for everyone. And despite the wedding day being the same day as King Charles’ coronation, the new King and Queen made a cameo for this amazing couple. That’s just how cool these two are. See below!
The day honestly couldn’t have gone more perfect. Oliva on the Hill has such a European vibe to it as well as the feeling of cozy and classy all at the same time. The venue really made everyone feel relaxed and celebratory. This is seriously my top favorite place! Allison and Jon Paul really relished in being with each other and all their close people. It really was just an incredible day and went off without a glitch. Well, there had to be just one….the DJ played the wrong version of their song, which I personally crack up at his face as he realizes it. (See below) But, the first dance song was EPIC! They danced to “You’re just too good to be true” and mid way through the song, everyone was singing and dancing right along with them. I get chills just thinking about how amazing of a moment that was!!!
The love these two have for each other is palpable and feel incredibly honored to have been there to document it!
